Cooking & Recipes

It's hard getting good quality fresh food when you're relying on carers. Most of whom lack cooking skills if you're using an agency etc.

All these can be done by a reasonably efficient and willing carer within a 45 minute call, many of them within 30 minutes from start to plate, though obviously they'll only have time to do the standard daily minimium other tasks in the same call.

RECIPES - QUICK COOK
If you can stand up for one or two minutes, own a microwave and hold & carry one plate or bowl of food, you should be able to do these yourself, on the basis that I can....  If you don't own a microwave, you'll have to be able to stand up/ reach the countertop/ stove top for a bit longer. Just don't knacker yourself out or burn yourself!  Obviously carers can also do these, especially if time is tight or they're not very confident cooking, might be good ones to start them off with....
